The biggest surprise of round 18 in ProA was guest JSF Nanterre's (15-3) easy road victory over second-best Limoges CSP Elite (14-4) 90-72 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Limoges CSP Elite. It was a key game for the top position in the league. JSF Nanterre shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Mykal Riley (198-85, college: Alabama) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import Jamal Shuler (191-86) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-88) who recorded 14 points and American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 9 points and 8 assists respectively. Four Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. JSF Nanterre have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Strasbourg. Defending champion Limoges CSP Elite dropped to the third place with four games lost. JSF Nanterre is looking forward to face Cholet Basket (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Limoges CSP Elite will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
