Regular Season Round 28: Umea - Boras 86-74

The most important game in the last round took place in Umea between third ranked Boras Basket (15-7) and ninth ranked Umea (7-16) on Tuesday night. Boras Basket was defeated by Umea on the road 74-86. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-74. Umea had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 21 points in the effort for Boras Basket. Umea moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Nassjo. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with LF Basket. Umea is looking forward to face bottom-ranked KFUM Jamtland (#11) on the road in the next round. Boras Basket will play against Solna Vikings (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
