Regular Season Round 15: Hapoel Migd.H. - Ramat Hasharon 69-73

The game between third ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (10-5) and thirteenth ranked Hasharon (4-11) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Hapoel Migd.H. was defeated by Hasharon in a tough game in Tarshicha 69-73. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Tamir Blatt (180-97) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. Point guard Or Ron (185-88) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Kelly Beidler (199-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the other American import Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) added 22 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Hasharon moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Maccabi Raanana. Hapoel Migd.H. at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Hapoel G/A and Netanya. Hasharon is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Elitzur Ramla (#14) at home in the next round. Hapoel Migd.H. will play again against Hasharon (#11) in Hod Hasharon and is hoping to win this game.
