Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Pyrinto (7-11) and Forssan Alku (6-13), which took place in Tampere. 6th ranked Pyrinto lost at home to ninth ranked Forssan Alku 56-73. The game without a history. Forssan Alku led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Forssan Alku outrebounded Pyrinto 48-33 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international forward Minna Sten (190-87) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Brittany Kennedy (170, college: FGCU) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Forssan Alku players scored in double figures. American forward Jessica Schroll (180-91, college: Cent.Michigan) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Hendderson Brittany added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forssan Alku moved-up to eighth place, which they share with ViVe. Newly promoted Pyrinto keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Forssan Alku's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked TuRi (#10) in Turku.
