Fourth ranked Beijing Ducks (26-10) crushed at home 16th ranked Jiangsu TX (10-26) by 46 points 136-90, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jiangsu TX. The game without a history. Beijing Ducks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu TX's 40. Beijing Ducks forced 23 Jiangsu TX turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Jiangsu TX's players. 24 personal fouls committed by Jiangsu TX helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Stephon Marbury (188-77, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward JianYe Song (198-91) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Brandon Costner (206-87, college: N.Carolina St.) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jiangsu TX. Five Beijing Ducks and four Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beijing Ducks' next round opponent will be Jiangsu Dragons (#14) in Nanjing and are hoping to win another game.
