Rather expected game when 5th ranked Flamengo (11-6) lost on the road to second ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (17-2) 92-84 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Alex Ribeiro (191-80, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Murilo Becker (211-83) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Argentinian point guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193-90) came up with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and American center Jerome Meyinsse (206-88, college: Virginia) added 21 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for Flamengo in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Paschoalotto/Bauru have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Limeira. Defending champion Flamengo keeps the fifth place with six games lost.
