Umea (14-1) recorded its first loss in Stockholm. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Alvik Basket (9-6) 82-81. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Umea. At the losing side international guard Agnes Nordstrom (180-88) responded with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Italian swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) scored 22 points (made all of her seven free throws). Five Umea players scored in double figures. Alvik Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Alvik Basket maintains fourth position with 9-6 record, which they share with Norrkoping. Umea at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. Alvik Basket will play against Telge (#7) at home in the next round. Umea will play against Mark Basket (#6) in Kinna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
