Regular Season Round 19: Mulhouse - Avignon-Sorgues 80-72

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Mulhouse Basket and 12th ranked Sorgues BC had identical 6-10 record. This time Mulhouse Basket used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Sorgues 80-72. Sorgues BC was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 43-32 second half run of Mulhouse Basket. It was a very good performance for point guard Jonathan Godin (185-82) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mulhouse Basket. They moved-up to twelfth place. Sorgues BC at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Mulhouse Basket's next round opponent will be league's leader Saint Chamond on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sorgues BC will play against Saint Vallier (#5) and hope to win that game.
