Second Stage Round 4: Jarfalla - BG Lulea 98-93

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Jarfalla and 9th ranked BG Lulea had identical 1-2 record. This time Jarfalla used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Lulea 98-93 on Saturday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BG Lulea won third quarter 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nemanja Jovanovic (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and point guard Elias Gerges (180-89) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Jarfalla players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Anton Kobylak-Berglund (197-96) responded with 30 points and 8 rebounds and forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Jarfalla (2-2) moved-up to sixth place in BEHS forts, which they share with Helsingborg. BG Lulea lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Jarfalla will have a break next round. BG Lulea's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lulea to the arena LF Future.
