Rather expected game when 11th ranked 08 Stockholm (2-14) lost at home to ninth ranked Visby Ladies (6-10) 72-64 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-64. Visby Ladies shot 20 for 27 from the free-throw line, while 08 Stockholm only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded 08 Stockholm 43-32 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Oaks Patricia who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and forward Marlene Wallin (175-81) supported her with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 17 points and 6 steals by American guard Vanessa Abel (165-89, college: Duquesne) did not help to save the game for 08 Stockholm. Swingman Emelie Enjebo (180-92) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. 08 Stockholm's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Visby Ladies maintains ninth position with 6-10 record. 08 Stockholm lost fourteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Solna Vikings. Visby Ladies will meet bottom-ranked Solna Vikings (#12) on the road in the next round. 08 Stockholm will play against the league's leader Northland having rather not much hope for a victory.
