The game between Top Four teams took place in Thessaloniki. 4th placed host PAOK (8-8) was smashed by second ranked AE Ellinikou (15-1) 80-46. The game without a history. AE Ellinikou led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AE Ellinikou outrebounded PAOK 48-28 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by PAOK's players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. The former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) accounted for 6 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Four AE Ellinikou players scored in double figures. Swingman Stavroula Spanidou (179-84) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and guard Dimitra Telidou (170-80) added 11 points respectively for PAOK in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AE Ellinikou have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Panathinaikos. PAOK lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. AE Ellinikou will play against Terpsithea (#6) in Glyfadas in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. PAOK will play on the road against the league's leader Panathinaikos in Athens and hopes to get back on the winning track.
