Second ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (20-6) crushed at home 5th ranked Kumamoto V. (3-23) by 34 points 109-75, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Mitsubishi Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kumamoto V.'s 30. They outrebounded Kumamoto V. 49-33 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Brendan Lane (206-90, college: Pepperdine) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Senegalese-French forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Mitsubishi Dolphins players scored in double figures. Mitsubishi Dolphins' coach Trifon Poch felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Garlon Green (201-91, college: TCU) answered with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Keita Takata added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Kumamoto V.The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Mitsubishi Dolphins. They maintain second place with 20-6 record having four points less than leader Wakayama T. Kumamoto V. lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 23 games lost.
