The game was mostly controlled by Hitachi Sunrockers. Toyota Alvark was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hitachi Sunrockers brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks.
