Very expected game when 10th ranked Sigma Barcellona (8-11) lost on the road to sixth ranked Novipiu Casale (11-8) 69-61 on Sunday. The game without a history. Novipiu Casale led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by point guard Giovanni Tomassini (188-88) who scored that evening 20 points and American guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St.) supported him with 19 points. Even a double-double of 13 points and 17 rebounds by the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) did not help to save the game for Sigma Barcellona.
