Regular Season Round 18: Polfarmex KT - PGE Turow 70-83

There was no surprise in Kutno where 9th ranked AZS Polfarmex (7-11) was defeated by second ranked PGE Turow (15-2) 83-70 on Sunday. The game without a history. PGE Turow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AZS Polfarmex was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points. American point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: G.Washington) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and Czech Patrik Auda (206-89, college: Seton Hall) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four AZS Polfarmex players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted AZS Polfarmex keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. PGE Turow will face Twarde Pierniki (#11) in Torun in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS Polfarmex will play on the road against Wikana Start in Lublin and hope to win that game.
