The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Battipaglia moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lucca. Trieste lost sixteenth consecutive game. Trieste at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Battipaglia will face league's second-placed Familia Schio on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Trieste will play against Lucca (#8) and hope to win that game.
