The game in Lund supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Sallen (12-5) played at the court of 8th ranked IK Eos (6-10). Sallen smashed IK Eos 72-36 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Sallen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding IK Eos to just 7 points in third quarter. Sallen held IK Eos to an opponent 22.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international center Katarina Andersson (191-83) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks. Serbian point guard Jovana Vidakovic (172-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Sallen players scored in double figures. point guard Maja Nilsson (164-91) produced 10 points and Danish guard Simona Bartkova (178-86) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. IK Eos lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Sallen will meet at home Alvik Basket (#4) in the next round. IK Eos will play against Visby Ladies (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
