But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mogi shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. The winners were led by naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 24 points and 4 assists and the former international center Paulo Prestes (211-88) supported him with 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Mogi players scored in double figures. Mogi's coach Francisco Garcia allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) by the former international power forward de Souza Ferreira (208-88) did not help to save the game for Winner/Limeira. The former international center Bruno Fiorotto (208-84) added 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the guests. Mogi have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-6 record having four points less than leader Bauru. Winner/Limeira at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Mogi will play against Rio Claro (#14) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Winner/Limeira will play against Sao Jose/Vinac (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
