Very expected game in Pruszkow where 10th ranked Astoria Bydg. (6-12) was crushed by fifth ranked Znicz Basket (11-7) 92-68 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Znicz Basket. Astoria Bydg. managed to win fourth quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Znicz Basket forced 26 Astoria Bydg. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Adam Kaczmarzyk (198-88) who scored 21 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Znicz Basket will meet Rosa II Radom (#6) on the road in the next round. Astoria Bydg. will play against Zaglebie (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
