Regular Season Round 31: Karlovka - Prievidza 67-72

Leader Prievidza delivered the twenty sixth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Karlovka (13-18) 72-67 in Bratislava. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian power forward Drazen Klaric (205-80) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian center Milojko Vasilic (207-89, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Lukaas Hoferica answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Dalibor Hlivak (190-95) added 16 points in the effort for Karlovka. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Prievidza (26-5) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place. Newly promoted Karlovka keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. Prievidza will play against SKP Banska Bystrica (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Karlovka will play against the league's second-placed Rieker KN and hopes to get back on the winning track.
