The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked Taiwan Mobile (17-8) played at the court of 6th ranked Dacin Tigers (9-16). Taiwan Mobile managed to secure a 8-point victory 73-65 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dacin Tigers. Taiwan Mobile trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-65. Taiwan Mobile outrebounded Dacin Tigers 54-38 including a 39-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American power forward Darian Townes (208-84) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 25 rebounds. The former international swingman Jung-Hsuan Chang (194-87) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Kuan-Lun Lin (187-84) who recorded 18 points and 4 assists and Yo Chin added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Mobile maintains second place with 17-8 record behind leader Pure Youth. Loser Dacin Tigers keep the sixth position with 16 games lost. They share it with KKL. Taiwan Mobile will meet Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Dacin Tigers will play against Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
