Regular Season Round 22: Haneda Vickies - Aishin AW 60-78

Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (0-22) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 22th consecutive match to ninth ranked Aishin Wings (6-16) 78-60. The game was mostly controlled by Aishin Wings. Haneda Vickies was better in fourth quarter 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aishin Wings dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda Vickies' 36. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Tanaka Masaki (171-88) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Forward Yuki Morimoto (177-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Haneda Vickies. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aishin Wings moved-up to eighth place. Haneda Vickies at the other side still closes the standings. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
