Regular Season Round 19: Roanne - Boulazac 68-63

The game between second ranked Boulazac Basket (12-6) and sixth ranked Chorale de Roanne (13-6) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Boulazac Basket was defeated by Chorale de Roanne in a tough game in Roanne 63-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boulazac Basket. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Boulazac Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American Torrell Martin (196-85, college: Winthrop) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Chorale de Roanne moved-up to third place, which they share with Antibes and Denain. Boulazac Basket at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Chorale de Roanne is looking forward to face Aix-Maurienne (#17) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Boulazac Basket will play on the road against Saint-Quentin (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
