Eredivisie top team - Leiden (15-4) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Rotterdam (6-12) 109-72. Leiden dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Rotterdam's 32 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Leiden forced 20 Rotterdam turnovers and outrebounded them 49-21 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rotterdam's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). International Worthy de Jong (194-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Leiden players scored in double figures. Leiden's coach Eddy Casteels felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Yannick Franke (194-96) replied with 26 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Ties Theeuwkens (191-85, agency: Court Side) added 18 points (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Rotterdam.
