Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked SMS PZKosz (8-11) was outscored by first ranked Notec (16-2) in Inowroclaw 91-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Notec. SMS PZKosz was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SMS PZKosz to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Notec dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to SMS PZKosz's 24 and made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Notec forced 26 SMS PZKosz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by SMS PZKosz's players. It was a very good performance for center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Mikolaj Grod (194-89) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Notec players scored in double figures. Daniel Golebiowski (194-98) replied with 12 points and center Dominik Olejniczak (209-96) added 3 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for SMS PZKosz. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Notec maintains first position in Group A with 16-2 record. Loser SMS PZKosz keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost.
