Regular Season Round 21: Quimper - Vichy 68-70

Fifteenth-ranked Quimper UJAP (5-15) made lots of trouble for second ranked JA Vichy (13-6). The visitors from Vichy managed to secure only two-point victory 70-68. However their fans expected much easier game. It looked good early as Quimper UJAP took an 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then JA Vichy took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 2 points. It was a good game for American-Italian swingman Ryan Zamroz (192-87, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. JA Vichy's coach Fabien Romeyer allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Romain Gregoire (200-91) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Quimper UJAP. JA Vichy maintains second place with 13-6 record having just two points less than leader St Chamond. Quimper UJAP lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. JA Vichy will play against Mulhouse Basket (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Quimper UJAP will play against Rueil and hopes to get back on the winning track.
