The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: MIA (#4) and Mgzavrebi (#7). MIA (6-2) won against visiting Mgzavrebi (1-7) 75-62. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when MIA's pressure prevailed and they won that period 21-15 extending their advantage to 13 points. The best player for the winners was international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Mikheil Berishvili (205-87) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four MIA players scored in double figures. The former international Merab Bokolishvili (198-92) produced 20 points and 5 assists and power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. MIA moved-up to second place, which they share with Rustavi and Kutaisi. Mgzavrebi lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Sokhumi. MIA is looking forward to face league's second-placed Energy Invest in Rustavi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mgzavrebi's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Dinamo Tbilisi.
