An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Minsk. Second ranked Gorizont faced 4th placed BrGU COR Victoria. Host Gorizont (16-3) smashed guests from Brest (9-10) 75-50. The game was mostly controlled by Gorizont. BrGU COR Victoria was better in fourth quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BrGU COR Victoria to just 7 points in third quarter. Gorizont forced 28 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Tatsiana Tsiruleva (168-88) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Tatsiana Rebianchuk (186-88) answered with 9 points and 10 rebounds and forward Nadzeya Yakovits (182-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BrGU COR Victoria. Gorizont maintains second place in League with 16-3 record having just two points less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk. BrGU COR Victoria at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Gorizont's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki-Minsk.
