Regular Season Round 33: Takamatsu FA - Kyoto Hannar. 66-87
Date: February 7, 2015
Everything went according to plan when third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (26-5) outplayed on the road 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-22) 87-66 on Saturday. It was a good game for American forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-80, college: California) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. American forward Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Kouki Yamabuchi (183-84) added 14 points in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Kyoto Hannar. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Hamamatsu P. and Okinawa GK. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the ninth place with 22 games lost. Kyoto Hannar. will have a break next round. Takamatsu FA will play again at home against the league's second-placed Kyoto Hannar. (#2) and hope to win that game.
