Very important is a road loss of third ranked Okapi Aalstar (10-7) against sixth ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (10-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Okapi Aalstar was defeated by Belfius Mons-Hainaut in a tough game in Quaregnon 68-72. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 23-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. At the losing side American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Taylor Braun (201-91, college: N.Dakota St.) scored 14 points. Belfius Mons-Hainaut moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Spirou. Okapi Aalstar at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Limburg United. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against VOO Verviers-Pepinster (#7) on the road in the next round. Okapi Aalstar will play against the league's leader Oostende (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
