The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Argon Uni Girona as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Argon Uni Girona smashed 8th ranked Zamarat at home 70-50. The game was mostly controlled by Argon Uni Girona. Zamarat managed to win second period 12-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
