No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Tresnjevka (9-5) smashed at home 7th ranked Lupa Promotion (4-9) 100-36. The game without a history. Tresnjevka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lupa Promotion to just 5 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Tresnjevka dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Lupa Promotion's 26. Tresnjevka forced 25 Lupa Promotion turnovers and outrebounded them 49-24 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Tresnjevka especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Lupa Promotion's players. It was a good game for Anita Kelava (185-97) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Iva Slonjsak (181-97) contributed with 13 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Tadic (-99) answered with 10 points and forward Danijela Fustin (177-90) added 8 points in the effort for Lupa Promotion. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tresnjevka moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rockwool Pula. Lupa Promotion at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Tresnjevka will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lupa Promotion will play at home against the league's second-placed Kvarner (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
