Regular Season Round 21: Treviglio - Roseto 85-90

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Treviglio (12-8) against fourteenth ranked Roseto (9-12) on Sunday night. Host Treviglio was defeated by Roseto in a tough game in Treviglio 85-90. Treviglio was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 29-20 charge of Roseto, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Naturalized Cuban guard Yankiel Moreno (190-90, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center Jacopo Borra (214-90, agency: Two Points) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Raphael Gaspardo (206-93) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) scored 6 points and 16 rebounds. Roseto moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Latina Basket and Legnano. Treviglio at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Roseto will play against higher ranked Scafati (#11) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Treviglio will play against Aget Service IM (#10) in Imola and hopes to get back on the winning track.
