Regular Season Round 10: Al Riyadi - Tadamon 98-79

Division A top team - Al Riyadi (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Tadamon (4-6) in Beirut 98-79. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) fired 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Five Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's coach Slobodan Subotic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Riyadi have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-1 record. Tadamon at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Al Riyadi's next round opponent will be Al Moutahed (#7) in Tripoli where they are favorite. Tadamon will play on the road against Champville in Dik El Mehdi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
