Rather expected game when 8th ranked Bambitious Nara (10-22) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Oita Heat Devils (12-20) 86-72 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 34-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Oita Heat Devils outrebounded Bambitious Nara 46-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American center Todd O'Brien (213-89, college: UAB) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Demetri McCamey (191-89, college: Illinois) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Oita Heat Devils maintains sixth position with 12-20 record. Bambitious Nara lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 22 games lost.
