Regular Season Round 34: Takamatsu FA - Kyoto Hannar. 74-66

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (26-6) against ninth ranked Takamatsu FA (10-22) on Sunday night. Visiting Kyoto Hannar. was defeated by Takamatsu FA in a tough game in Takamatsu 66-74. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kyoto Hannar.. Kyoto Hannar. trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 66-74 at the end of the game. Takamatsu FA made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and forward Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-80, college: California) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Takamatsu FA moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bambitious Nara and Fukushima. Loser Kyoto Hannar. keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Hamamatsu P. and Iwate Big Bulls. Takamatsu FA will meet higher ranked Shiga L-Stars (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kyoto Hannar. will play against Fukuoka Rizing and hope to secure a win.
