An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 5th ranked Recanati in a game versus Chieti (#8) 83-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Recanati. Recanati was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Two Points) nailed 26 points for the winning side and center Andrea Ancellotti (212-88) accounted for 12 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Alessandro Zanelli (187-92) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for Recanati in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chieti (11-10) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Tortona. Loser Recanati keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Reggio Calabr.. Chieti will meet league's leader Ravenna on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Recanati will play against Piacentina (#16) and hope to secure a win.
