Rather expected game when 16th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-15) was edged on the road by fourteenth ranked SPO Rouen (9-11) 88-86 on Monday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Entente Orleans 45 won fourth quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SPO Rouen made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for SPO Rouen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 68.8 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Michael Thompson (177-89, college: Northwestern) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 assists and guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St.) who added 21 points during the contest. Four SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. Forward Sean May (206-84, college: N.Carolina) responded with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Darnell Harris (183-86, college: La Salle) scored 17 points. SPO Rouen moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Gravelines and Chalons-Reims. Loser Entente Orleans 45 keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. SPO Rouen will face league's second-placed JSF Nanterre on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against SO Maritime Boulogne (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
