It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hokkaido L.. The game was mostly controlled by Tochigi Brex. Hokkaido L. was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hokkaido L. 41-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds. The former international guard Yuta Tabuse (173-80, college: BYU-Hawaii) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: KMG Sports Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Tomokazu Abe (180-85) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Hokkaido L.Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 23-9 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Wakayama T. Loser Hokkaido L. keeps the sixth place with 24 games lost. Tochigi Brex will face Kumamoto V. (#5) at home in the next round. Hokkaido L. will play against the league's leader Wakayama T. and hope to win that game.
