The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Pinar del Rio (17-1) on the court of second ranked Capitalinas on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Capitalinas 75-57. It ended at the same time the 17-game winning streak of Pinar del Rio. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Defending champion Pinar del Rio still keeps top place with one game lost. Capitalinas are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Artemisa (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Pinar del Rio will play against Villa Clara (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
