Date: February 13, 2015
Very expected game when 16th ranked Souffelweyersheim (6-14) was defeated on the road by second ranked Olympique Antibes (14-6) 55-46 on Friday. Souffelweyersheim trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 14-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 46-55 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and the other American import point guard Willie Solomon (187-78, college: Clemson, agency: Interperformances) who added 10 points during the contest. Kevin Dinal (202-93) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) scored 9 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympique Antibes have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-6 record having just three points less than leader Hyeres-Toulon. Souffelweyersheim at the other side keeps the sixteenth place with 14 games lost. Olympique Antibes will have a break next round. Souffelweyersheim will play at home against Charleville-Mezieres (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
