Regular Season Round 21: Clinicas Rincon - Penas Huesca 72-74

A very interesting game took place in Malaga. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 15th ranked Clinicas Rincon (4-16) to thirteenth ranked Lobe Huesca (6-13) 74-72 on Friday evening. Lobe Huesca forced 19 Clinicas Rincon turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Edgar Vicedo (201-94) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-93, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (207-76, agency: Duran International) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Alfonso Sanchez (198-87) added 17 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Lobe Huesca moved-up to twelfth place. Clinicas Rincon at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Lobe Huesca's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ourense (#4) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Clinicas Rincon will play against Leyma Basquet (#10) in Coruna and hope to win that game.
