Second Stage Round 6: IK Eos - KFUM Uppsala 73-62

There was a minor upset when 5th ranked KFUM Uppsala (3-4) lost to eighth ranked IK Eos (3-4) in Lund 62-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by IK Eos. KFUM Uppsala was better in third quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. IK Eos forced 22 KFUM Uppsala turnovers. It was a good game for center David Hult (204-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Oliver Ehrnvall (197-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and guard Kevin Grant (191-94) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. IK Eos moved-up to fourth place in Superettan. IK Eos will face Fryshuset (#5) in Stockholm in the next round.
