Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (10-23) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Osaka Evessa (20-13) 86-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Osaka Evessa. Bambitious Nara managed to win third quarter 19-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Osaka Evessa won last quarter 30-22. It was a great evening for American forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: USC Aiken) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Soma Takuya (181-91) helped adding 22 points. Four Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Osaka Evessa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 20-13 record. Bambitious Nara lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 23 games lost. They share it with Takamatsu FA. Osaka Evessa will again meet at home Bambitious Nara (#9) in the next round.
