Regular Season Round 20: Stabill Jezioro - Slask Wroclaw 105-91

There was an upset in Tarnobrzeg where higher ranked Slask (13-7) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Stabill Jezioro (6-14) 105-91 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 65-47 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Stabill Jezioro made 34-of-35 free shots (97.1 percent) during the game, while Slask only scored four points from the stripe. Slask was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American Dominique Johnson (196-87, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and Daniel Wall (196-82, agency: Promotex) who added 26 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) responded with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Lawrence Kinnard (203-86, college: UAB) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Stabill Jezioro and four Slask players scored in double figures. Slask's coach gave the chance to play for ten players saving starting five for next games. Stabill Jezioro moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Wilki Morskie. Slask lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with seven games lost. Stabill Jezioro will face higher ranked AZS Koszalin (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Slask will play against AZS Polfarmex and hope to win that game.
