Round 22 in Eredivisie means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Rotterdam where host Binnenland (10-9) beat league's leader Lekdetec.nl (15-4) 88-84 on Saturday evening. Binnenland forced 19 Lekdetec.nl turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Shay Selby (175-90, college: Duke) fired 30 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International center Rianne De Roos (191-89) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Binnenland's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The former international guard Karin Kuijt (175-90) produced 22 points and 8 assists and the former international forward Jill Bettonvil (188-92) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Lekdetec.nl players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with CTO. Lekdetec.nl at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Loon Lions who have the same record. Lekdetec.nl will play next round against Den Helder trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Binnenland will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Amazone in Utrecht.
