The game in Keflavik was also quite interesting. Second ranked Tindastoll (14-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Keflavik (8-10). Tindastoll defeated Keflavik 104-93 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 34-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Tindastoll looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Myron Dempsey (203-91, college: Paul Quinn) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international guard Darrel Lewis (192-76, college: Lincoln, MO, agency: Two Points) chipped in 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Davon Usher (198-92, college: Delaware) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American forward Damon Johnson (196-74, college: Tennessee) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Tindastoll and four Keflavik players scored in double figures. Keflavik's coach Helgi Jonas Gudfinnsson rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tindastoll have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Tindastoll maintains second position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader KR. Keflavik lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Snaefell. Tindastoll will meet at home Grindavik (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Keflavik will play against Fjolnir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
