Regular Season Round 18: Tromso - Baerum Basket 87-71

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tromso. First ranked Tromso faced 4th ranked Baerum Basket. Host Tromso (12-4) defeated guests from Bekkestua (10-6) 87-71. The game was mostly controlled by Tromso. Baerum Basket was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tromso outrebounded Baerum Basket 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Reggie Fuller (199-86, college: Binghamton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Tellef Lundevall (193, college: Brown) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward Flavien Davis (196-92, college: Montana St.) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Baerum Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-4 record. Baerum Basket at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Tromso will play against Nidaros Jets (#5) in Tromdheim in the next round. Baerum Basket will play at home against Froya Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
