Second Stage Round 10: Dynamo Polotsk - Prinemanye 73-90

Rather predictable result when second ranked Prinemanye (9-11) defeated on the road 5th ranked Dynamo Polotsk (4-15) 90-73 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Prinemanye. Dynamo Polotsk was better in second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Oleg Makarov (183-96) scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) chipped in 25 points during the contest. Four Prinemanye players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Yauheni Skrypkau (207-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds and guard Pavel Kadol (195-89) scored 23 points. Dynamo Polotsk's coach let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Prinemanye maintains second position in League with 9-11 record having nine points less than leader Grodno-93. Newly promoted Dynamo Polotsk keeps the fifth place with 15 games lost. Prinemanye's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Grodno to the arena Grodno-93.
