Very predictable result when Cocodrilos (2-0) won against Gaiteros (0-2) in Caracas 79-66. The game was mostly controlled by Cocodrilos. Gaiteros was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Gaiteros 39-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Cesar Garcia (175-89) chipped in 18 points during the contest.
